Software Engineer (Full-stack, Back-end & Integrations)

Build the systems that run Giftaty behind the scenes. You will design and develop our operations platform, APIs and integrations that connect Shopify, couriers, payment gateways and our production floor, so every personalized order flows smoothly from checkout to delivery.

What you'll do

  • Design, build and maintain back-end services and APIs (Node.js / TypeScript) for orders, production and delivery
  • Integrate Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs, webhooks, courier APIs and payment gateways
  • Build internal dashboards and tools for the support, production and operations teams
  • Design reliable databases and data models (PostgreSQL or similar) and keep data clean and secure
  • Deploy and monitor services on serverless and cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS or similar)
  • Write tests, review code and document your work so the system stays easy to change

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js skills; a modern front-end framework (React or similar)
  • Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs and working with webhooks
  • Solid SQL and database design skills
  • Git, automated testing and clean, well-structured code
  • Good English for technical work; Arabic is a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience with Shopify apps or the Shopify Admin GraphQL API
  • Experience with Egyptian payment gateways or courier APIs (Paymob, Fawry, Bosta or similar)
