Keep Giftaty's numbers clear and correct. You will handle daily bookkeeping, reconcile online payments and courier cash collections, manage VAT and payroll, and give the team simple, accurate reports to make good decisions.
What you'll do
- Record daily transactions, purchases and expenses accurately
- Reconcile Shopify sales, payment gateways and courier cash-on-delivery collections
- Prepare VAT and tax filings in line with Egyptian law, including e-invoicing
- Run monthly payroll and keep staff records up to date
- Track supplier payments, costs and product margins
- Prepare monthly profit and loss, cash flow and budget reports
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in retail or e-commerce
- Good knowledge of Egyptian tax, VAT and the e-invoicing system
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks or similar)
- Accurate, organised and trustworthy
- Good Arabic and English
Nice to have
- Experience reconciling payment gateways (Paymob, Fawry, Valu or similar)
- Experience costing products in a production business
