Turn people into art. You will draw original comic-style portraits, cartoon couples, family characters and fun scenes that customers put on mugs, frames, shirts and engraved gifts. Every piece you create should make someone smile the moment they unwrap it.
What you'll do
- Draw custom comic-style and cartoon portraits from customer photos
- Create original characters, scenes and illustrated templates for occasions (birthdays, weddings, graduation, Ramadan)
- Design illustrated series and collections that become best-selling Giftaty products
- Adapt artwork for different products and techniques: full-colour print, one-colour laser engraving and line art
- Deliver clean, layered files on time, ready for pre-press
- Keep a consistent, recognisable Giftaty illustration style
What we're looking for
- A strong portfolio of original illustration, comic or cartoon work
- Excellent drawing skills in Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar
- Able to capture a real person's likeness in a stylised way
- Comfortable with both colour artwork and clean line art for engraving
- Creative, reliable with deadlines and open to feedback
- Only original work: no copies of existing characters, brands or artists
Nice to have
- Experience with Arabic lettering or calligraphy in illustrations
- Experience drawing for products, packaging or print
