SEO Specialist (SEO Optimizer)

Help customers find Giftaty first when they search for a gift. You will own our search visibility in Arabic and English, from keyword research and on-page optimisation to technical SEO, content plans and AI search visibility.

What you'll do

  • Research Arabic and English keywords for gifts, occasions and products in Egypt
  • Optimise product, collection and landing pages: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and images
  • Run technical SEO checks on our Shopify store: speed, indexing, structured data, hreflang and site maps
  • Plan and brief SEO content: gift guides, occasion pages and blog posts
  • Build quality backlinks and local SEO (Google Business Profile)
  • Track rankings, traffic and conversions in Search Console and GA4 and report monthly

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO, ideally for e-commerce
  • Experience with Search Console, GA4 and an SEO tool (Ahrefs, Semrush or similar)
  • Good understanding of technical SEO and structured data (schema.org)
  • Strong Arabic and English writing and editing
  • Analytical, curious and up to date with Google updates and AI search
  • Shopify experience is a big plus

Nice to have

  • Basic HTML and Liquid knowledge
  • Experience with bilingual (Arabic/English) sites and hreflang
