Bring AI into every Giftaty order. You will build our WhatsApp AI assistant that answers customers in Arabic and English, and smart automations that check designs, route orders and save our team hours every day, always with a human ready to step in.

What you'll do

  • Build and improve our customer AI assistant on the WhatsApp Cloud API, connected to Shopify order data
  • Design prompts, tools and guardrails so the assistant answers accurately in Egyptian Arabic and English and hands over to a human when needed
  • Automate workflows: order notifications, design checks (photo quality, text overflow) and production routing
  • Build evaluation sets and dashboards to measure answer quality, cost and response time
  • Integrate large language model APIs (such as Claude) securely, with privacy and cost control
  • Work closely with support and operations to find and automate repetitive work

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience (Python or Node.js / TypeScript)
  • Hands-on experience building products with large language model APIs
  • Experience with webhooks, REST APIs and messaging platforms
  • Understanding of prompt design, tool use and evaluating AI output
  • Care for privacy, security and a great customer experience
  • Good English; Arabic (especially Egyptian dialect) is a big plus

Nice to have

  • Experience with the WhatsApp Business Platform or chatbot platforms
  • Experience with image processing or computer vision for design checks
