CO2 Laser Technician (Cutting & Engraving)

Bring personalized gifts to life with light. You will run our CO2 laser machines to engrave and cut wood, MDF, acrylic, leather, glass and cork, turning customer names, photos and designs into precise, beautiful gifts.

What you'll do

  • Operate CO2 laser machines for engraving and cutting wood, MDF, acrylic, leather, glass, cork and paper
  • Set up jobs from design files (SVG, DXF, AI, PNG) in LightBurn, RDWorks or similar software
  • Choose the right power, speed, frequency and focus for every material and run test pieces
  • Position products accurately with jigs so names and designs land exactly in place
  • Check every piece for quality and redo anything that does not meet our standard
  • Clean and maintain the machine: lenses, mirrors, alignment, cooling and exhaust

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years of hands-on CO2 laser experience
  • Good knowledge of LightBurn, RDWorks or similar laser software
  • Understanding of vector files and basic design editing
  • Careful, precise and safety-minded (eye protection, fire safety, ventilation)
  • Able to work to daily production targets, with overtime in peak seasons
  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with photo engraving on wood or acrylic
  • Experience making jigs and fixtures for batch production
