Fiber Laser Engraving Technician (Metal)

Make engraving that lasts a lifetime. You will run our fiber laser machines to engrave names, dates and designs on stainless steel, metal, jewellery, pens, lighters and coated products with crisp, permanent detail.

What you'll do

  • Operate fiber laser marking machines on stainless steel, aluminium, brass, coated metal and some plastics
  • Set up jobs in EZCAD or similar software and align designs precisely on curved and small items
  • Use rotary attachments for tumblers, bottles and rings
  • Adjust power, speed, frequency and passes for deep engraving, colour marking or light marking
  • Inspect every engraving for depth, sharpness and spelling before it moves on
  • Maintain the machine and keep the workstation clean and safe

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years of hands-on fiber laser experience
  • Good knowledge of EZCAD or similar marking software
  • Very precise, with a steady hand for small items
  • Understanding of vector files and basic design editing
  • Safety-minded and reliable with daily targets
  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with rotary engraving on tumblers and rings
  • Experience with colour marking on stainless steel
